Newark isn't a particularly big place, but there seems to be a pretty good assortment of restaurants. This one is french influenced, although there is an interesting variety of food to be had. Reasonably good service, but an overall very good experience. Not a bad selection of wines, including by the (very large!) glass. I had the Roast Chicken Breast, Savoury Bread Pudding of Jerusalem Artichokes & Caramelised Cépes with Slow-Dried Tomatoes & Roast Chicken Juices, followed by Selection of British & Irish Cheeses which included Dovedale Blue: Derbyshire Produced Blue Veined Cheese Rich in Flavour Lincolnshire Poacher: Mature Cheddar with Clean Taste from Market Rasen Cooleeney: Hand Made in Tipperary, Using Friesians Milk with Celery, Apples & Bath Oliver Biscuits. Newark est une petite ville dans Nottinghamshire. Mais il y a quand-même une sélection de restaurants assez impressionnante. Celui-ci est français de nom, mais les repas sont plutôt inventifs et variés. Carte de vins pas trop grande, mais complète. Pas mal du tout.
